Een boek met papieren poppen. Geen tekst. En twee platen om mee te spelen. Alleen in het begin staat er een korte beschrijving dat het gezin van de grote bossen naar de prairie verhuisd. En er sta 8 korte tekstjes in het boek: “Meet Laura” en “heading west” en “the long journey” en “a new home” en “pa’s fiddle” en “the fireplace” en ‘time to play” en “save and sound”. De poppen zijn van hard karton en de kleren van los, maar stevig karton. Ook Meneer Edwards komt in het boek voor.

Tekeningen:

De tekeningen zijn van Renée Graef en Doris Ettlinger en dus wel mooi. Gedetailleerd. Heel kleurig. De kleren zijn passend bij het kopje. De getekende scenes zijn de prairie en in de blokhut.

Eigen mening:

In 2021 gekregen met de zending van Susan Duggan. Het laatste papieren poppen boek dat ik nog moest. De poppen zijn steeds hetzelfde, maar de kleren verschillen. De achtergrond-decors zijn telkens ook wel mooi.

Summary:

A book with paper dolls. No text. And two plates to play with. Only at the beginning there is a short description that the family moved from the big woods to the prairie. And there are 8 short texts in the book: "Meet Laura" and "heading west" and "the long journey" and "a new home" and "pa's fiddle" and "the fireplace" and 'time to play" and "save and sound". The dolls are made of hard cardboard and the clothes are made of loose, but sturdy cardboard. Mister Edwards also appears in the book.

Drawings:

The drawings are by Renée Graef and Doris Ettlinger and therefore beautiful. Detailed. Very colorful. The clothes match the scene. The drawn scenes are the prairie and in the log cabin.

Own opinion:

Received in 2021 with the shipment from Susan Duggan. The last paper doll book that I still had to get. The dolls are always the same, but the clothes are different. The background decors are also always beautiful.
