Samenvatting:

Een dun boekje met op iedere pagina een gedicht over de verschillende woonplaatsen/ musea van Laura Ingalls Wilder. Beetje simpele gedichten. Ze volgen het verhaal uit de boeken. Ook het stukje voorwoord en nawoord is in rijm.

Tekeningen:

Er staan mooie, paginagrootte foto’s in het boek, die je zou kunnen gebruiken om op te hangen. Het zijn allemaal foto’s van de huizen. En de kerk in Spring Valley. De laatste foto is van een grote Amerikaanse vlag. De voorkant heeft wel een mooie foto waarbij alle verschillende locaties in de spaken van een wiel zijn geplaatst.

Eigen mening:

Geinig boekje, gedichten zijn wel geinig, maar kinderlijk. Simpel. De foto’s zijn wel mooi, maar ze zijn allemaal al bekend. De foto’s zijn wel heel scherp.

Resume:

A thin book with a poem on each page about the various residences/museums of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Some simple poems. They follow the story from the books. The foreword and afterword are also in rhyme.

Drawings:

There are beautiful, full-page photos in the book that you could use to hang. They are all photos of the houses. And the church in Spring Valley. The last photo is of a large American flag. The front does have a nice photo with all the different locations placed in the spokes of a wheel.

Own opinion:

Funny book, poems are funny, but childish. Easy. The photos are beautiful, but they are all already known. The photos are very sharp.
