Samenvatting:

Dit dunne boekje bevat 21 woordpuzzels over Laura Ingalls Wilder en het kleine huis. Tevens staat er informatie in over de familie Ingalls, de plaatsen waar Laura heeft gewoond en de televisieserie. Voor elke puzzel staat een stukje tekst over het betreffende puzzeltje. De puzzels zijn ingedeeld aan de hand van de boeken. Van verschillende boeken zijn twee puzzels gemaakt. De puzzels zijn allemaal woordzoekers.

Tekeningen:

Er staan nauwelijks tekeningen in het boek. Alleen boven aan ieder hoofdstukje staat een klein plaatje. Meestal algemene plaatjes zoals bloemen, een paardehoofd, een waaier, een huis, handschoenen, een viool, een lamp, een hoed, een huifkar en een bril. Het eerste hoofdstuk heeft een plaatje van een landschap. Heel simpel.

Eigen mening:

Ik heb geen van de puzzels gemaakt, te zonde om in zo'n boekje te schrijven. Ik ben er nog nooit toe gekomen om de puzzels te kopiëren en te maken. Het boekje is natuurlijk helemaal in het Engels, ook de puzzels, dus dat is wel een extra uitdaging voor een Nederlandse.

Summary:

This thin book contains 21 word puzzles about Laura Ingalls Wilder and the little house. It also contains information about the Ingalls family, the places where Laura lived and the television series. There is a piece of text about the puzzle for each puzzle. The puzzles are divided according to the books. Some books have two puzzles. The puzzles are all word searches.

Drawings:

There are hardly any drawings in the book. Only at the top of each chapter is a small picture. Mostly general pictures such as flowers, a horse's head, a fan, a house, gloves, a violin, a lamp, a hat, a covered wagon and glasses. The first chapter has a picture of a landscape. Very simple.

Own opinion:

I have not made any of the puzzles, too much of a waste to write in such a book. I have never gotten around to copying and making the puzzles. The book is of course completely in English, including the puzzles, so that is an extra challenge for a Dutch person.
